Too faced matte eye palette review and swatches

A long overdue review today as I got this palette back in September when my Mum went to the US.

I collect these Too faced palettes - this is the fifth one in this collection.  I reviewed the Romantic eye palette last year and showed the others in the collection in this post.
I'm no expert when it comes to applying eye shadow, and glittery ones can be tough to work with, so I was quite pleased to see this palette is all matte eye shadows.  The packaging is always really pretty with these too, so I love having them lined up and on show.

As usual, the palette is made up of three sets of three different colours which you can use individually, or you can copy the look cards that come with the set.  No matter how hard I try to follow these though, I can never get the look right - I think I have funny shaped eyes!  Anyway, I've given each of the colour groups a go in my own kack-handed style =)

The 'day' colours

'Classic' colours

'Fashion' colours

I know it's a bit boring, but I like the classic colours the most!

I've had a look online and I don't think this palette is out in the UK yet.  All of the previous ones have become available in places like Boots and on lookfantastic so I'm sure it will be out soon.

What do you think of the palette?

  2. They're soft enough and subtle enough for everday despite the bright colours, really lovely :) xx
