Valentine's inspired pieces

I'm not a huge sucker for Valentine's day.  I do celebrate it with my boyfriend, but we certainly don't waste silly amounts of money booking trips to Paris, sending each other a dozen roses, or eating off a limited and clichéd set-menu in a packed out restaurant.

Hmmm, I sound like a bit of a Valentine's humbug don't I?  I'm not really, and one of my favourite things about Valentine's day is all the romance inspired pieces in the shops. I don't just mean things covered in heart print, but generally you can find a lot of really girlie pieces in all shades right through from powder pink to deep scarlet.

I've had a little browse around some of my favourite online shopping haunts to see what clothes and accessories they're offering up for the day of lurrrrve....

I hope you've seen something you like :)

This Valentine's day the bf has offered to cook me a romantic meal at home.... bless him, this could be interesting!

Have you got a hot date planned for Valentine's day?

  2. I also love that dressing gown! I love this time of year for clothes too because I love things with hearts on, it's all so cute! I think my favourite thing is probably the heart Asos jumper although I wish it was a long sleeve tshirt! Great idea for a post hun! xxx

  4. Ooh liking a lot of this stuff especially the Dorothy Perkins coral dress, ASOS earrings and River Island bag and earrings :-)

Think we're going to be doing the same as you Valentines Day - we only really do cards and cooking for V Day as our anniversary is just a few days later too.

  5. Lovely post :) I love the cute River Island earrings, the Dorothy Perkins wedges, the ASOS bird bag and the first Miss Selfridge dress. Me and my fiance don't bother with Valentines Day anymore. We used to in the early days but we are just concentrating on saving for a holiday in late Spring instead! xx

    1. Sorry haha! I really want to dress too, but can't really justify why I need it, maybe I'll hunt for a discount code! As long as your other half is only grumpy on Valentine's day I'll let him off! xxx
