It's a really nice, light moisturiser which is perfect as a day cream as it sinks in quickly and easily. Sometimes my foundation can 'curdle' if a moisturiser is too thick or greasy, but I've been using this as part of my normal foundation routine and it fits in nicely.
I have serious combination skin, with pronounced oily patches and dry patches, which can be a bit of a nightmare, but I've found this moisturiser to be a good balance for both issues.
I had expected the cream to smell like shea butter, as it does contain 8% shea butter, but it's actually fragrance free, so good for sensitive skins.
The amount I've shown squirted out on the back of my hand is a couple of pumps and is the amount I use each morning. It's a really controlled pump, so you don't ever use too much, and based on how much I've gone through so far, I think this 50ml size was last me a good few months.
I really like this for my skin type. I need a richer face cream for nigh time though, so I'll stick to this one just for the mornings. I'll be reviewing another L'Occitane product I've been using for my night cream in the next couple of days.
This product costs £24 for 50ml and is available from L'Occitaine direct here.
