You may remember me posting before about not getting on very well with a Bobbi Brown concealer I had tried, so I wasn't expecting to do well by buying one that costs about a quarter of the price. It just shows how wrong you can be doesn't it, because this product suits my skin ten times better, and for £4.19 I'm a happy bunny.
This concealer is a lovely liquid and creamy consistency, so it's really easy to apply. I've been dabbing it on where I need it with the wand, and then buffing it in with my foundation brush. I chop and change as to whether I put concealer on before or after my foundation, but with this one I've been using it before.
The product is pretty good at covering my dark circles, and it does't cake around the nose area like some products do on me. It did gather and look a bit cakey on a pesky spot I had, but that could have been because I applied too much, and I also added powder in an attempt to obliterate the spot.
It's called lasting perfection, but I can't agree it lasts all day long on me. It really does do a good job compared to other concealers I've tried, but if I'm going somewhere after work I have needed to re-touch it.
This concealer comes in four shades - fair, light, medium and deep. Usually I would have expected I'd need light, the second shade, but when I was in Boots choosing this, it seemed a bit orangey and the medium seemed better so that's what I went for and I've not found it too dark at all.
It's times like this I love being a blogger and a reader of blogs because I find out about great products I wouldn't have otherwise tried :)
Collection 2000 lasting perfection concealer costs £4.19 and you can get it from Boots.
Have you tried the lasting perfection concealer? Do you have any other fab concealer recommendations for me?
