Shopping for... daytime wedding / blessing outfit

My friend's having her wedding blessed at Church followed by afternoon tea, so I'm shopping for the perfect dress.  In my head I'd planned to get one of the dip hem floral dresses from Primark as recommended to me by @Corrina__ on twitter, but when I finally tried one on I found it too short at the front for my liking, plus I don't generally wear sleeveless things because I hate my upper arms.  It's tough shopping with all these self-imposed rules!

These are the dresses I'm considering at the moment - what do you think I should go for?

No sleeves, but I'd wear it with a little chiffon jacket / wrap thing I have

I'd wear some sort of blazer with this

I'm kinda in love with this dress (it comes in lilac too) - the problem is it's backless, eeek!

Hmmm not sure any of these are quite right.  Why is it that I always see loads of lovely dresses when I have no reason to buy them?!

Have you seen anything nice that you think I might like?  Please link me up - if it has sleeves, I'll consider it! =)

  1. I think I like the Next one best! The first ASOS one looks cute but I despite the quality of their own brand stuff! x

    1. Thanks hun. I buy loads of ASOS own brand clothes and am usually happy with it all - the costume jewellery tarnishes immediately though!

    1. I hadn't thought of that, although my friend's not wearing white. I think I prefer the lilac anyway, just don't like the backless bit!

    1. I think it's my fave too, just scared of spoiling the look by wearing a cover-up :(

  9. I'd avoid cream at a wedding personally, though it is a lovely dress. My favourite is the pink next one :) x
