NOTD - Boots 17 Dazzle the night Wishing Star and Glimmer in the Night swatches

A week or so ago I went along to enjoy a little bit of Christmas on one of this summer's few hot and sunny days.  I absolutely love Christmas, and it's never to early for me to get excited about it, so I was super keen to go to the Boots Christmas preview event.  Here's a peek at the nail polishes from the 17 Dazzle the night collection which will be out in November.

All swatches are shown without and then with flash.

Glimmer in the night is a dark grey, almost black polish containing heavy silver glitter.  In these pictures I'm wearing two coats over a clear base and it's given a serious blingy finish even without a topcoat.

Wishing star is an overglaze or shimmer topcoat polish, so the idea is to layer it over another colour to give different effects.  It really catches the light and looks different in various light intensities of outdoor / indoors / sunshine etc.  Here I've painted it over a mid grey nail polish as I thought it would co-ordinate well with Glimmer in the night which I was also wearing, but I think this could work well over the top of lots of different colours, black especially and maybe purple will be next for me to try.

The dazzle the night nail polishes will be available from November and will be just £2.99 each from Boots.

Will you be picking these up?

Let me know if you're interested in seeing all of my pictures of the Boots Christmas ranges that I took at the event - or is it just too early and should I save them until nearer the time?
