Aztec nails by Sophie from a hint of sparkle

Today's guest post is from another sparkle lover - Sophie from a hint of sparkle.  I'm so jel of her new hot pink Mulberry cosmetic bag as well as her cool take on Aztec nails, which she's sharing with us below -

Hi guys,

So when Gemma asked me to write a post while she was away on her jolly holidays (I'm not jealous honest, ha) , I got thinking of several ideas I could do, but being the lover of anything nail related as well as a lover of all that sparkles (I'm sure Gem will agree), a NOTD was definitely on the cards.  With plain nails not being an option for me these days, I decided to take a little inspiration from weheartit.com and chose to have a go at Aztec nails.

For this look I used nails inc's jermyn street as the base, and then got to adding splashes of Revlon's gold coin (there's got to be a little sparkle somewhere, right?), and then to finish it off I used two Models Own nail art pens in black and white to create the Aztec design. For a first attempt im rather impressed with myself (cue Cheshire cat smile), and it reminds me somewhat of the ever changing All Saints Aztec dresses, what do you think??

Thanks for reading my rambles, and a huge thank you to Gem for giving me the opportunity to write this post!!

Fab post Sophie, thank you!  I really must get around to trying some tribal nails myself too - in the past I've only managed just the one nail as they take a lot of patience!  Check out Sophie's blog here - I think we're pretty similar, so if you like my blog, you'll probably love hers :)
