Most Wanted - a guest post wish list by Hanne

Today's guest blog post is from Hanne whose blog is called Talbs.  I love the look and feel of her beautiful blog and her wishlists never fail to inspire me, so I was really pleased to see that's what she'd done for her guest post...

Hi everyone!

Just to quickly introduce myself, I'm Hanne and I run talbs, where I post about fashion, beauty and life covering everything from reviews to wish lists to DIY projects. Today I'm guest blogging for Gemma, who is no doubt sunning herself and having a fabulous time on holiday! A regular feature on my blog is my 'Most Wanted' post, which is essentially a list of everything I'm lusting after this week. For this post I've decided to focus on my beauty wants, so here goes!

1. 2. 3. 4. 5.
I've managed to get a nice mix of high end and high street I think!

First up is the Eau Thermal Water Spray by Avene. Avene are a French skincare brand more readily available in the UK, and whilst many have compared this to Caudalie's Beauty Elixir, they are in fact two entirely different products. This is marketed as being a cooling spray that can soothe irritation such as sunburn, rehydrate skin, cool you on a hot day or even be used as a setting spray after you've applied your make up. The aerosol style spray also means you can mist your face evenly in one go. This is actually really affordable with a 150ml bottle setting you back £6.50, or £3.15 for 50mls at Boots.
This NARS bronzer is one I'm sure you've all heard of by now. "Laguna" is somewhat a cult product, and one I've managed to avoid lusting after... until now. After borrowing my friend's, I was left incredibly impressed by the pigmentation and the way it blends out to leave a natural glow that doesn't leave us pale-ys looking horribly orange. There is some shimmer in Laguna, but it's so subtle this can still be used to contour if you so desire. You get an impressive amount of product for your money and a little goes a really, really long way so in my eyes it really is worth the £25.00 price tag.
Next up is "Cute As A Button" from Essie, and these polishes really have taken the British beauty blogging world by storm since the launch of their diffusion line a few months ago. Cute As A Button is a popular shade and it's obvious why: it's a gorgeous shade, described by Essie as "a juicy persimmon delight". It's a stunning pinky coral that's perfect for summer, but if you're anything like me you'll wear it well into winter to brighten up the chilly days! The diffusion polishes are now available for £7.99 from Boots and Superdrug.

Eye primer wasn't something I'd considered until recently, and the only one that had crossed my consciousness was Urban Decay's Eyeshadow Primer Potion. Recently though, MUA's £2.50 offering has caught my eye after a series of positive reviews. If you're wondering what an eye primer does, it essentially creates a smooth, even base for your eye make up and improves application and wear time. Whilst it's not exactly an essential, it can do a lot for the appearance of your eye make up, and at only £2.50, it's worth a shot, right?

Finally is this blush from Sleek. "Rose Gold" is one of their most sought-after shades, and with good reason. With it's golden shimmer infused pink, this is a well known high street dupe for NARS' Orgasm. I'd been managing to say no until recently, when I convinced my friend it was a great purchase (after all, you're saving around £15.00 for an almost identical product!) and I haven't stopped thinking about it since. Whilst it's not a necessity for me, at only £4.49 for 8g, it's a great blush that's very well pigmented and incredibly similar to cult product Orgasm. Now all I have to do is find a Superdrug that has it in stock!

What do you think of my picks? What's on your beauty lust list? I hope you've enjoyed my post; I'd like to say thank you very much to Gemma for letting me share this with her lovely readers!
Some lovely choices from Hanne there.  I have the MUA eye primer and I really like it - it's just as good as ones that are so much more expensive.  Essie cute as a button is a lovely shade too - it may well get purchased on my holiday.  Thanks for guest posting Hanne - check out Talbs here.
