L-R: OPI Care to Danse? | Essie Mint Candy Apple | Orly Oh Cabana Boy | Essie Splash Of Grenadine | Models Own Pro Sugar Plum Fairy
OPI Care to Danse?: This is from the OPI New York City Ballet collection which was released earlier in the year. I am a girl who loves a pale polish and this one is certainly that! It is a sheer lilac but actually looks more like a cool pink on my nails. I think this is the perfect colour for everyday nails, especially if you work in a professional environment. It would also be great for a classic French Manicure.
Essie Mint Candy Apple: Mint Candy Apple is one of their best selling polishes and I can see why! Although this was released in 2009 it is still very popular - I love that it matches my mint green skinny jeans from Zara! I think this is a great colour for summer because it adds a pop of colour while still remaining subtle. Beyonce wore this shade in her 2010 music video for 'Why Don't You love Me?' so if it's good enough for Beyonce...
Orly Oh Cabana Boy: I love this colour! It must be the brightest nail polish I own and I don't usually go for neon nail polish but for some reason I couldn't resist this one when I spotted it in Boots. It is a neon pink with blue undertones and a little bit of shimmer. I love to wear it on my toes - this colour never fails to make me smile!
Essie Splash of Grenadine: I bought this polish just after returning from my holiday in Crete and I had been (of course) indulging in a few cocktails whilst there. My boyfriend pointed this out to me simply because of the name so I picked it up! For me this is a proper girly pink - a magenta pink with blue undertones.
Models Own Pro Sugar Plum Fairy: As you can probably tell I love a pink nail polish and for me this one is the perfect baby pink! Subtle enough for the workplace but bright enough to give your nails a little something extra. Models own Pro polishes are also enriched with Vitamin E and UV filers to protect and nourish your nails.
What are your favourite nail polishes for summer?

Thank you for having me!
Thank you so much for sharing Jayne. I don't know how you managed to narrow it down to your top 5, but they're all lovely. I bought my first Essies last week and I think I may well need to add mint candy apple and splash of grenadine to the collection soon!
