It's the start of December tomorrow, and that's when my Christmas shopping panic always starts to set in. I've bought quite a few things already and have finished shopping for some people almost completely, but the awkward to buy for people are now starting to stress me out! I always find it easier to buy for the females in my family, and Boots is always my first stop...
As soon as the Boots Christmas gift guide hits my Mum's straight in there making her list, and it makes it really easy for me to make a start on my shopping. I'm exactly the same - must get it from her - and it's our tradition that we swap our Boots wish lists with each other by the end of October!
The first thing I homed in on was the Origins gift sets because they're such good value compared to stocking up on products individually. I chose the Origins merry moisturisers set because it contains some of my favourite Origins products - Drink up intensive overnight mask and Make a difference + moisturiser. This is such a brilliant deal for £29 - the moisturiser costs more than that on its own!
As soon as I saw the Clarins essentials palette I knew I had to have it. It's very 'Nakedesque' and it has me written all over it. I swatched this in store and the colours are all gorgeous and buttery and very very wearable. My best friend's getting this for Christmas too, we can't wait to get our hands on them!
On the non-beauty front I'm hoping to get a lovely new diary for work and notebook for blogging and some new Knee High Boots - I bought some lovely dark brown ones last week but feel the need for a black pair too :)
Mum picked out a gift containing a pretty tasty palette too. She's a creature of habit and goes for a set like this nearly every year - its the French Connection eye perfection collection. She doesn't really wear a lot of makeup (despite my bests efforts to encourage her!) and only focuses on her eyes and her brows, so this kit is perfect for her. As well as the cute little palette there are eye pencils, tweezers, lash curlers a mascara, a pencil sharpener and more.
She also went for this great skincare gift set from No7 called radience restorer. It's bursting with products from the Beautiful skin range for her to try before she commits to a full size.
Mum was a good girl and picked me three gifts that are all on 3 for 2 - the last one is No7 the pencils collection. Like me my Mum doesn't go anywhere without her eyeliner on and this set contains lots of pretty but subtle colours which I know she'll wear. I quite fancy this one for myself too.
Now back to figuring out what to get for the boys...!
