Beauty: pretty gifts from Heathcote & Ivory

Heathcote & Ivory is a website I've mentioned before which is a great destination for gift buying.  They stock lots of super cute beauty and bathing gifts, usually with a pretty vintage floral twist.

This gift set is from the vintage collection and contains a full size hand cream and lip balm together with a matching floral print nail file.  They're all handbag essential products and I love the cream and red floral design.  I must admit I've not opened this set because I already have someone in mind that I want to give this to!

I've never been a fan of bath salts or floaty things for the bath - I don't even like the bath bombs which explode with bits which get caught in your hair when you're taking a dip.  So bathing flowers are not something I've ever thought of trying or paid much attention to.  Well I've certainly been missing out because how beautiful are these?  I don't know whether to pop them in the bath or accessorise my bedroom with them!  They're the perfect finishing touch to a pretty pink lush bath (melting marshmallow moment is my favourite), making the bath look extra girly and enticing for a bit of pampering and relaxing.  I'll certainly be wanting more of these, and they come in some other pretty colours too.

  2. Oh, how beautiful! I love old-fashioned floral printed things, too. This brand reminds me a lot of another company called Quintessentially English. Chic and Alluring Blog
