Home for Christmas - decorations, tableware and home comforts

Oh my goodness it's Christmas week - Christmas is actually on Friday!  No matter how hard I try to prepare, or how early I start planning, a familiar panic sets in during the final few days leading up to Christmas.  Have I forgotten to buy a gift for someone?  Have I missed a vital item off the grocery list?  Did I get all the neighbours' names right for their cards?  Everything's probably fine, but that little bit of Christmas fretting always happens to me regardless - partly I think it's pure excitement - I still can't sleep on Christmas Eve!

Christmas gift guides 2015 - gifts for men

It's my final gift guide today, and I've saved the trickiest one until last - well I find men the trickiest anyway.  I love buying beauty gifts for all of my female friends and relatives, but the boys in the family can be really awkward to buy for, and very unhelpful when it comes to giving any ideas.  I've gone for a nice mix of practical and fun gifts at lots of different price points, so hopefully something for everyone and no standing in long refund queues come January!

Christmas gift guides 2015 - gifts for her under £20

These gift guides have taken me absolutely bloody ages to put together - I probably shouldn't say that and shouldn't be moaning, but it's just a pre-amble to me wanting to mention just how much I've enjoyed doing them.  Shopping is my number one hobby, and taking photos is starting to feature pretty highly too, so it's been a labour of love let's say!  Today's gift guide is more pressies for her (because we need all the things) but under the £20 mark or thereabouts.

Personalised Christmas gifts from IJustLoveIt.co.uk

In the run up to peak Christmas shopping season, I was contacted by personalised gifts website IJustLoveIt.co.uk to see if I wanted to try out some of their unique gifts.  Considering my shopping list was rather lacking in ticks at this point, it was perfect timing!  There are tonnes of gifts on the site, and it took me a really long time to decide what I wanted to order as there's so much choice - definitely a something for everyone type of site, and lots of quirky things for the hard to buy for people on your list.  Most things can be personalised, but they also have other gifts on there they don't need any names or details added, as I suppose that's not for everyone, although I think it adds such a nice thoughtful touch.  I really liked this fun gin & tonic drink stirrer, the personalised cushions and this adorable Girl's dress keepsake which would be perfect for a little girl's bedroom - I'm keeping this one in mind for when my best friend's daughter is a bit older!

Christmas gift guides 2015 - gifts for her over £25

Following on from my stocking fillers gift guide, we're moving on to slightly more substantial gifts over £25.  There are some of personal favourites that I'm giving and receiving this year, and some rather special makeup palette gifts - because let's face it, they're the ones we're most excited for!

Christmas gift guides 2015 - the stocking fillers

Finally it's time to talk all things Christmas!  I really wanted to start posting my gift guides last week, but what with parcel robbing neighbours and black Friday slowing down deliveries, some of my gifts have been slow to arrive!  I'm still awaiting one or two things for my my other gift guides, so I'm starting with stocking fillers.  I hope this might inspire you for your secret santa, or whoever else you need an extra something for, or maybe you'll just add some of these bits and bobs to your own Christmas wish list - most of them are on mine!

End of Autumn beauty favourites

You may have noticed that I became bored with monthly favourites, and decided to stop doing those sorts of posts a while back.  I found my favourites didn't always change all that much in the space of four weeks, and it was becoming more of a 'what I tried this month' rather than a list of products I loved.  Seasonal favourites four times a year seems much more of a good fit for me, and now as it feels like winter's here (officially I don't think it's supposed to start until 21st December!), I thought it would be good to take a look at what I've been loving during autumn.

Panasonic IPL hair removal system first impressions review

Next to make-up brush washing, unwanted hair removal has got to be up there with the most hated beauty chores, right?  As someone with dark hair and fair skin, shaving, waxing or epilating is all part of daily life, especially in the summer.  It's nice to have a bit of a break in the winter when you can hide away in thick wooly tights a lot of the time!  I've never considered having a salon based laser treatment, as I don't think my level of hairiness is all that extreme, but an at home solution I can try myself is very tempting.  Panasonic have asked me to try out their IPL hair removal system, which works to delay regrowth over time with continued use, so I thought I'd start off by sharing my first impressions.

Urban Decay Vice 4 palette review and swatches

Urban Decay are on a serious roll at the moment.  Not long ago we were introduced to a new palette in the Naked family (here's my Naked Smoky palette review and swatches), this weekend saw the launch of their amazing collab with Gwen Stefani (Urban Decay X Gwen Stefani palette swatches) and there's a new Vice palette just in time for your Christmas list!

Wunderbrow and Wunderextensions review - gimmicky names, great products!

There are two things guaranteed to make my face look slightly more lively and presentable to the world, the first is mascara, and the second is filled brows.  I feel naked without either of them, and every year when I go on holiday I stress over waterproof products to use for the beach or pool.  Shallow?  Maybe.  Vain?  Yes.  But that's what makes me feel that bit more comfortable.

The limited edition Urban Decay X Gwen Stefani palette collaboration

So many makeup palettes get released in the lead up to Christmas, that it can all get a little bit much for an eyeshadow hoarder like me.  My Christmas list reads like a Sephora stock check, and I have to remind myself that I have just the one face, and should whittle down to just the palettes I really *need*.  If you're the same, one palette I'd recommend reserving a special place for under the tree this year is the Urban Decay Gwen Stefani collaboration.  It's such a lovely mix of shades and textures in gorgeous packaging, but be warned, it's limited edition, and going on sale this weekend!

Make Up For Ever Ultra HD foundation review

Make Up For Ever originally introduced their HD foundation in response to advances in technology meaning that HD cameras and TVs were showing skin in greater detail than ever.  HD quality has progressed more and more over time and we now have 4K, so the new Ultra HD foundation is the upgraded version of the original formula.

Christmas Gifting - Gillette Flexball Spectre gift set

I love everything about Christmas, but the one thing that bugs me every year and puts me off just a little, is the stress I go through trying to work out what to buy the men in the family.  When I ask them what they'd like for Christmas I'm greeted with helpful responses like "I don't need anything" or "I don't know, you choose" and worst of all "I'll have a think about it..." which of course they won't - it's just a fogging tactic to get rid of me!

My favourite autumn treats

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, autumn is my favourite season.  I know it’s so ‘in’ to like autumn now, but truly I’ve always loved it.  I’m not a summer person at all – hot weather is not my thing – two weeks on holiday in the sun is plenty for me, and after that I’m ready for tights, cosy socks, blankets, candles, hot chocolate… you get the idea.

I love to change up practically everything in my routine once the colder weather sets in and my holidays are over – I nearly always go away in September, and it’s like I leave during summer and arrive home to autumn having begun.  So I thought it’d be nice to share a mixture of the treats I’ve been enjoying this year.

Red Carpet Ready starter kit review - gel nails in 5 minutes? Really?!

I love having glossy, bright, painted nails.  It makes me feel pulled together, and finishes a look perfectly.  I'm one of those people that would never choose to go out with naked nails, and I change my colour every couple of days - mainly because of chipping.  It means I must spend a whole lot of my week doing my nails - I'd prefer it if my polish lasted longer and didn't need attention every 48 hours or so, which is why I love at home gel kits.  I've tried several before, and I like to think I'm quite good at it, but the whole process from start to finish usually takes about an hour with most methods, so I don't make the effort to put on a gel often enough.  The answer of course, is a gel manicure that takes no longer to apply than a regular polish, and that's what Red Carpet Manicure have created with their Red Carpet Ready One Step system.  They claim it takes just five minutes to complete their manicure, and I was more than happy to put that to the test.

L'Occitane's 2015 Christmas gifting collection in collaboration with Pierre Hermé, and an amazing advent calendar!

L'Occitane make some of the loveliest gifts around, and this Christmas is no exception!  2015 sees a collection of beautifully presented gifts designed in collaboration with pastry chef extraordinaire Pierre Hermé.  I love the colourful packaging with a subtle nod to macarons and all things sweet, combined with delicate, fresh and floral scents.

Too Faced haul of gorgeousness - Cocoa Contour, Love Flush Blush, Melted Metal lipstick and Love eyeshadow palette

There's nothing more satisfying to me than photographing beautiful makeup in pretty packaging.  My photography skills are kind of still evolving, but when it comes to shooting products as good looking as this, even I can't mess it up!  The products I'm talking about today are some new and new-ish launches from the Gods of amazingly presented makeup - Too Faced.

Florida 2015 part 1 - My top tips for staying at Walt Disney World

I went on holiday to Florida in September - we did the whole theme park thing and had such an amazing time.  I've been to Florida before, but not for a good few years, so I'd been building up to this and planning everything all year.  It was amazing to finally get there and follow my plans, but also so sad when it was all over!  I always intend to share more travel stuff on this blog, but never seem to get around to it, but this time I think I'm really going to enjoy sharing my holiday memories and tips with you so that I can re-live the magic too!

Free Marks and Spencers beauty gift worth £60 (with a £25 purchase in store)

Models Own Hypergel Twilight collection review and swatches

Arriving home from a lovely holiday is always a bit of a downer, especially when you're faced with back to work blues, sudden cold temperatures and heaps of washing!  The perfect pick me up for me whilst doing all that unpacking was sorting through my post, and opening four beautiful shades from Models Own's new Twilight Hypergel collection...

Brow taming must-haves - Silk Fibre Brow, Delilah Brow Line and Benefit Brows a-go-go

It's easy to become a little bit obsessed with your brows, isn't?  It's true that they really do frame your face, and can completely change or finish your look, depending on what you do with them, but they're also pretty tricky customers to deal with.  These days I'm a fan of having a professional work their magic on my brow shape with waxing or threading and during the summer I paid my first visit to Benefit's brow wizards at the Carnaby Street boutique brow bar.  I enjoyed a brow mapping session followed my tinting and waxing.  Amy did my brows - she's really lovely by the way, and has amazing quirky nail art - and made an excellent job of giving me a really good shape without taking too much off.  The brow mapping really helped me to understand how to figure out where my brows should start and finish to get their overall shape, and although she firmly told me I mustn't pluck between visits, I just can't help myself - my brows grow really quickly, honest!

Autumn skincare - Kiehl's newness and old favourites

As autumn creeps in, my skincare routine naturally steps up a gear to prepare for the unfriendly conditions ahead.  Hydrating masques become an essential, and extra layers of hydration are needed daily to combat both the cold outdoor temperatures and the drying effects of central heating.  I’ve been conducting a little review of my current skincare options in preparation for the chilly times approaching, and realised I’m really happy with all of the Kiehl’s products I’ve been using lately, and will be carrying them through to the new season, so I thought I’d share them with you, old and new.

Trying out the Lipofirm Pro cellulite treatment at Waterlily Beauty Clinic in Dalston

Everyone has a different part of their body that they dislike, or would want to change if they could, and for me it's my thighs. For as long as I can remember I've carried extra weight there. There are worse problems in the world I know, and generally it doesn't take over my life, as I can just hide them away. It's all good, until it's time to go on holiday. At the beach, pool or water park, my thighs have nowhere to hide, and having them on show really fills me with dread! So as you can imagine, when I was invited to try a non-surgical lipo treatment less than a week before my holiday, I leapt at the chance (but not that high because, you know, chunky thighs...).

The treatment I had is called Lipofirm Pro and the salon I went to is called Waterlily Beauty Clinic, based in Dalston. They specialise in advanced face and body treatments using new technologies and you'll find the same kind of treatments and techniques as you would on Harley Street, but at much friendlier prices!

Urban Decay Naked Smoky palette review and giveaway!

I'm back!  I'm so sorry for the massive break while I was on holiday - it's possibly the longest I've ever gone without posting in six years, and it didn't feel right at all, but I was so absorbed in the crazy planning process for Florida.  I had an amazing time, so all worthwhile and I hope you'll excuse the lack of posts.  I have some Florida and Disney related content coming soon, but first I really wanted to launch this giveaway, which I actually meant to pop up before my holiday... I think this gorgeous palette has been worth the wait!

Disney World packing and prepping - my Florida holiday essentials

I may have mentioned once or twice... that I'm going to Florida this month!  I've been to Florida and all of the theme parks quite a few times, as it was our favourite family holiday when I was growing up, and this will be my fourth time going back as an adult, and third trip with my boyfriend.  I'm slowing bringing him around to the idea of loving Florida holidays too!

Sunshine, good wine, tasty food and great friends - the perfect cure for a stressful week!

So today's the last day of August, and it's grey and raining outside.  Is summer over already?  I hope not, but if it is, I'm pleased I made the most of the sunny evening on Friday.  It was the perfect time to get the girls round for wine, food and much needed catch up after a really stressful couple of weeks for me.

KIKO power pro nail lacquer in red, camelia and fuchsia - review and swatches

KIKO have recently brought out a new range of nail polishes called Power Pro, which promise a salon quality finish that lasts up to 7 days.  I've never got 7 days out of a nail polish ever, so I decided to put these to the test and wore each colour on my nails until it chipped.

ESQIDO Companion long lasting bond lash glue and little black lashes review

You might have seen that I previously reviewed some of the ESQIDO false eyelashes before in this blog post, but at that time, Esqido didn't make their own glue, so I just used one I already had at home.   Now they've launched the Companion long lasting bond lash glue, they kindly sent it over for me to try out, together with a different pair of lashes, which are called Little black lash.

London food review - Chick'n'Sours, Kingsland Road, Dalston

I can't tell you how many times I've gone for dinner with the best intentions of taking snaps for the blog, but ended up bottling it at the last minute.  I'm one of those paranoid sorts that always thinks everyone else is looking at me, judging what I'm doing, so I get rather self-conscious taking photos out and about.  But... as you can see, I've finally gone and done it!  Until now I've only properly shared one foodie adventure, which was my vist to Street Feast in Lewisham, and that felt a lot easier as it's such a casual market type environment.   Chick'n'sours itself is pretty laid back too really, plus the food is too good to go undocumented!

Summer beauty at Debenhams - YSL Le Teint Touch Eclat, Make Up For EverPlexi-Gloss and Red Herring sunglasses

I was worried summer had already come to an end until we got lucky with the sunshine this weekend, but in any case I still have my holiday to look forward to (30 sleeps!) and I'm off to Florida - the sunshine state!  Amid the manic over-planning of where we'll be going, what we'll be doing and even what we'll be eating every day of our holiday, I'm also finding time to obsess over my holiday wardrobe and makeup selections.  Debenhams have sent me some products from their latest ranges which are perfect for summer, so naturally they'll be going straight into my suitcase!

First up I have the illuminating Le Teint Touche Eclat foundation from YSL, which has a lovely texture and finish for a summer base.

Scentsy Goldsmith warmer review and Scentsy bars in Yuzu Dragon and Peony Petals

I love candles, and have a collection which borders on ridiculous.  I particularly like to collect ones from Yankee Candle, and Bath & Body Works.  I also love Neom, and have some other expensive candles that are practically just for show and never to be burned! What can I say, I like my house to smell good!

When I heard that my boyfriend's sister-in-law Jen was working with a wax melt home fragrance system called Scentsy, I was instantly intrigued, but wasn't really sure why I'd need a Scentsy warmer when I have so many candles already, plus wax tarts that go into a tealight warmer.  I'm pleased I gave it a try, because now that I've tried Scentsy I totally get it, and already have my second warmer on order!

Zoeva Cocoa Blend palette review and swatches - another must-have neutral palette?

When I want makeup that's difficult to get hold of, the hunt really fuels my need to make it mine.  When that that makeup sells out, a full on obsession ensues.  Cue considering paying well over the odds on eBay, frantically refreshing websites at crazy times of night and setting alarms and reminders in my phone!  The Zoeva Cocoa Blend palette can be a tricky purchase to make, but now I have it in my hands, I can confirm that the chase was totally worth it - it's an absolute stunner.

Models Own Chrome eyeshadow palette review and swatches

Best known for awesome nail polish of course, Models Own occasionally venture into cosmetics too.  Following their recent lipstick and lipgloss launches which were inspired by the hypergel nail polishes, they've now released some new eye palettes which are also linked to their polish lines.  I've been experimenting with the super shiny Models Own Chrome palette, which of course reminds me of the Colour Chrome polish collection of molten metallic shades.

DIY pedicure tips with the Scholl Velvet Smooth Express Pedi

Keeping your feet in an acceptable condition for flip flops and sandals can be such a chore in the summer.  I think it's one of the many reasons that I prefer winter, as you can just hide unsightly hooves in socks and thick black tights! Regularly going for a pedicure can become an expensive habit, and you need to find the time to fit those appointments in too, so having an at-home alternative like the Scholl Velvet Smooth range might be just what you need.  Personally I don't like paying for something I can do myself, like manis and pedis, tanning and waxing - I'd rather spend more money on things like hair cuts and individual lash application that I'd be hopeless at!

Limited edition Blame it on Nars blush palette swatches - exclusive to Selfridges

Would you take a look at this absolute beauty?  Nars really have their packaging on point with this limited edition blush palette - I don't mind their usual plain black or mirrored affairs, but this packaging is a little work of art.

I shared the Ultimate Lip Pencil set from the same collection in this post after Selfridges very kindly gave me a sneak preview, but it was the Blame it on Nars blush palette that really caught my attention, and I knew I'd need to place a cheeky order as soon as it was released.

Sunday Riley Luna night oil review - is it worth the money?

Now and again one of those products comes along that you just can't escape.  Everyone's talking about it, and inevitably, I get swept up in the hype.  Usually I'm pretty happy to try out most things to see for myself, but when it's an £85 night oil, it's not such an easy decision!  The Sunday Riley brand in general is one that's drawn a lot of attention from bloggers, and I'd considered a few of their products in the past, before leaving them to languish on my wish list a little longer due to their higher price points, but something about Luna really got me hooked.

Xen-Tan Dark Lotion and Face Tanner Luxe review and giveaway

Fake tanning is something I fall in love with again every summer – I always forget how great it is to have a gorgeous tan and how much better you can look and feel once you have a lovely bronze glow.  I forget because I’m not one of those people who can be bothered to keep up their tanning routine all year round – I envy those that do, but I’m just too lazy!  I generally get the tanning bug around May when the sun has started shining and flip flop and bare leg season is starting up.

Oddly enough, the time I’m most into fake tanning is right before I go on my summer holiday!  I always go away quite late in the year, so I fake my glow right up until September, and then I really turn up the tan right before I go away, because I hate looking all pale and pasty that first day at the beach or by the pool.  Having a tan makes me feel much more confident in my swimwear as I think it makes you look a bit slimmer and more toned, and can help hide cellulite and other imperfections that we’d rather not highlight!

New from Kiehl's - Daily Reviving Concentrate review

Kiehl's has become one of my most trusted skincare brands, in particular I love the Ultra Facial Cream (I'm on my fourth tub!) and Midnight Recovery Oil.  I think one of the reasons is that Kiehl's is a brand that doesn't rely on gimmicks, crazy packaging or clever marketing tricks - the brand is all about the science, research, and ingredients which really work.  I love popping along to Kiehl's launches because everyone is so passionate about the brand, and I always come away having learnt something new about how our skin works from Kiehl's dermatologist, Dr Geyer.

The latest launch from Kiehl's will have Midnight Recovery Concentrate fans jumping up and down, because it's a similar oil that's been developed for daytime use.  It's called Daily Reviving Concentrate and it's designed to fight daily skin stresses and fatigue, helping to prevent your skin from looking tired and haggered by 5pm! Over time the concentrate combats dullness, dehydration and rough texture - all of which I'm certainly keen on, as it's not just fine lines that can make us look older, it's the all round appearance of the skin.

Maybelline haul - the new Master Sculpt contour and highlight powder - review and swatches

I have the new Maybelline master sculpt contouring duo to play with, so I thought I'd also show you what I've picked up from Maybelline lately, as all of these things are fast becoming favourites in my makeup collection.  I've been meaning to try to Instant anti-age eraser eye concealer for ages, but the lightest shade is almost always out of stick, but I finally found it.  I also picked up two of the Color Drama lip pencils which are frequently compared to Nars velvet matte lip pencils.

Lemon drizzle blueberry loaf cake recipe

I get stuck in a bit of a rut of making the same old cakes, which is why I've not shared a baking post here in a long old while.  It's not a terrible prediciment to be in, there's still cake involved albeit repetitive, but I decided I needed to broaden my baking skills and try something new.  Somehow a 'cake Thursday' situation has evolved at work where a group of us take it in turns to bring in cake (or cheeseboards and other goodness!) once a week - homemade or whatever you like.  For my turn I thought I'd shun my trusty cupcake and basic chocolate sandwich recipes and finally unwrap the loaf tin I've had lurking in my cupbord for a few years...

Nivea Sun protect and bronze sun protection range review

With the UK heatwave going strong, it seems like just the right time to talk about the Nivea protect and bronze sun care range.  Nivea sent me a selection of their products to try out, although I'm already familiar with some of their sun care, as Nivea is the brand I usually opt for when browsing the aisles of Boots ahead of my summer holiday each year.  I think I usually go for these because Nivea's a brand I know and trust, and because they usually have great buy one get one free deals!

Vichy Pureté Thermale fresh cleasnsing gel and cleansing micellar oil review

I've been trying out two cleansers from the new Vichy Pureté Thermale range which is designed to combat the negative effects of pollution and hard water.  They're both brilliant products, especially for using in summer as they have an amazing almost sun creme like scent, and the cleansing gel especially, feels to refreshing and cool on the skin.

Slurp milkshakes, eat cookies and lose weight? Win an Exante Sam Bailey 4 week diet pack and try it yourself!

I've written about diets a few times on this blog, but each experience has usually been pretty short lived as I'm generally rubbish at sticking to eating plans, and have zero willpower!  At this point, I tend to avoid gimmicky fad diets, because I just know what I'm like and that they won't suit me.  What seems to be more realistic for me personally, is a bit of a combination of changes, which don't feel totally restrictive, and still allow me to enjoy eating out - which is usually the main killer for any diet that I try!

Fleur Fatale by Kim Kardashian fragrance review

One of my secret guilty pleasures is my love for Kim Kardashian.  She's the queen of PR stunts and all that comes with that augmented reality celebrity world, but I don't care.  I love her hair, her clothes and of course her makeup, if only I could pull it off around the office in that nonchalant way that she does.  It's not going to happen, I don't have an entourage, a Kanye, or a wardrobe filled with Balmain, and she's bootylicious whereas I just have junk in my trunk!  But, I can still aspire to a few Kimmy K elements, like the lush long hair and her dramatic daytime smoky eye, and I can smell like Kim with a choice of seven - yes seven - of her own fragrances!  The latest in her collection is the beautiful Fleur Fatale scent, which is inspired by Kim's favourite flowers - white roses.

Braun Silk épil 7 and Silk épil 9 epilator comparison review

I'm a big fan of epilating - it's practically as quick, easy and convenient as shaving, but it keeps you fuzz-free for ages.  If you've not tried it before, I promise it's really not all that painful, and you should definitely give it a go.

I've been using the Braun Silk épil 7 for some time, but there's now a newer model available which is the Silk épil 9 skin spa, so I thought I'd do a comparison of the two to talk you through what they both do and the differences.

From the creators of Makeup Revolution - introducing Freedom Makeup London!

Freedom Makeup is the new line from the creators of both Makeup Revolution and Makeup Academy.  Freedom Makeup London is marketed as being a 'professional' line, so I'd naturally expected the prices to be quite a step up from the bargains we're used to getting from Makeup Revolution, but seeing as I'm about to talk about £1 lipsticks, it turns out I was wrong!

There are so many products in the new Freedom Makeup range that I couldn't wait to get on their new website on the launch day to check them all out.  I was also sent some products from the collection to try, so I've given them all a go, and am ready to share my thoughts.

New summer beauty at Selfridges featuring a new and exclusive Nars gift set!

Recently I received an extremely exciting yellow parcel from Selfridges containing a selection of products from their range for summer 2015.  The postman hadn't even made it down my drive before I had the door open, ready to snatch the parcel from his hand.  I knew something brand new from Nars was going to be inside, alongside a selection of other amazing treats, and I couldn't wait to see what they all were.

The contents certainly didn't disappoint, brimming with gorgeousness from Bobbi Brown, Estēe Lauder, Aerin, Charlotte Tilbury, and of course that new exclusive from Nars, which turned out to be a new trio of their amazing lip pencils.

Hair update - products for long, damaged hair and my hair loss worries

Over the last few months I've been so conscious of the thickness of my hair - it felt thinner, and I started obsessing a bit over whether I was losing more than the normal amount of hair that you would naturally shed.  I think it's one of those vicious circles where I was feeling stressed in general and because I was worried about the possibility of my hair thinning, I was noticing every single strand on my brush or sliding down the plughole, and suddenly it seemed that I was losing a lot of hair, when really in reality it was probably no more than usual.  To set my mind at rest, and also to just generally try to take better care of my hair and to keep it in good condition, I switched up my routine with few new products.

The Body Shop Virgin Mojito collection review - the perfect summer bath and body scent

I'm not all that adventurous with my blog photography usually - I'm just not very artsy, although I wish I was - but products from a Mojito scented bath and body range, well it would have been rude not to rustle up a cocktail as a prop, right?  Purely for aesthetic purposes, of course...  The Body Shop Virgin Mojito collection smells exactly like a Mojito, which one of my favourite cocktails.  It's a spot-on, super zesty and fresh combo of mint and lime which isn't at all sickly or sweet, and it's perfectly timed for summer too.
