The Christmas and New Year break was so lovely, but it's put me so behind with all things blog related! I instagrammed this stunning new palette from Makeup Revolution back in mid-December and it ended up being one of my most 'liked' photos of the year, so I know you lot are going to love this and I'm sorry it's taken me a while to share!
The palette is called Euphoria and it's a multi-product palette containing six eye shades and three sculpting colours which all work perfectly together. The Euphoria palette comes in two colourways - bare and bronzed. Bronzed is the one I have here and it includes slightly deeper, warmer shades so it probably works best for those with a darker colouring; bare has more cool-toned shades and would probably suit fairer hair and skin a little more.
I've used this palette such a lot since I got it, and I love that not only are Makeup Revolution continually bringing out awesome eye palettes, they're taking it a step further and giving us a mutli-functional palette of such well edited, complimentary shades, and it's still only £6!
My favourite shade of the whole palette is the blush colour on the far right. It's a beautiful peachy-coral with gold shimmer. It's not glittery or overly sparkly on the cheeks - it gives just the right amount of illumination and lift. It's almost a Nars Orgasm dupe, but it's more coral toned whereas Orgasm is a bit more rose - I actually prefer this shade!
The contour and highlight colour are also really good and work well on my skin tone - the highlighter is very pigmented too, which I love. Although I know less is more, sometimes I struggle to get highlighters to show up properly on me - if I put the effort in to highlight and contour, I want you to be able to see it!
The eye shades are a great mix of pretty metallic shades through champagne and rose gold to true golds and bronze. The middle four shades are my favourite and I've been using them together in different combinations. The palest shade is slightly harder to work with than the others as you can see in my swatch, but it's the kind of colour I'd only really go to for brightening the inner corners of my eyes anyway. The last colour of the six eye shades is a very yellowy-orange gold and it washes me out so it's not one I'll go back to, but the rest of the palette is a real winner for me.
I hope Makeup Revolution have plans to bring out more combination palettes like this one as it's great to have shades all laid out for you that work well together, and it's handy for travel to pack one palette which can do so much and has a nice big mirror.
