If you've not heard about it already, you really need to see what's going on with QVC's latest beauty offering - it's called Tili, and it's a beauty box like no other. Tili stands for 'try it, love it' and unlike a lot of other beauty boxes, you don't need to subscribe, and you see exactly what you'll be getting before you part with your money!
I love the thoughtful packaging that's going on here - the box itself is lovely to look at, and there are lots of little details throughout that make it feel like you're opening a special treat. I can definitely see myself keeping the box for some sort of storage, and also I know that the boxes change colour each month, so that's fun too and I know I'll end up hoarding them all.
The packaging's lovely, and the products don't disappoint either. As I mentioned, you get to see exactly what's in the box before you order, and all of the boxes have the same content, so no need to get the hump that you got the orange lipstick but would have much preferred the pink one and so on. With the Tili box all of the products are well known QVC brands, so you know you're getting some excellent quality beauty products, and also, if you like the product, you can easily order the full size. Also, the products in the box have been curated by QVC's beauty buyers and they're made up of a selection of their favourite picks across QVC's makeup, skincare and body care brands.
So let's see what's in the box shall we...?
- Elemis Smart Cleanse Micellar Water
- BareMinerals Skincare Skinlongevity Vital Power Infusion
- Becca Backlight Priming Filter
- Essie Nail Polish in Ballet Slippers
- Vita Liberata Phenomenal Mousse Tan
- Nexxus Shampoo and Conditioner
- Alpha H Liquid Gold
My Mum found out about the Tili box around the same time as me, and we both started to tell each other about it which amused me greatly. Because the box has such a wide range of different products it appeals to us both, and actually we've decided to share the first box as there's a pretty even split between which products each of us is interested in. I know Mum will want the Elemis Micellar Water and the BareMinerals Power Infusion, not that I wouldn't use them, but I'd rather be trying out the Becca primer and be getting my hands on a great travel size version of my favourite Vita Liberata tan! I'm quite particular with shampoos due to my hair type, so the Nexxus products will be more suited to Mum, and also she'll get the Essie polish, but only because I already own that shade! The one product we'll probably do a bit of fighting over is the Alpha H Liquid Gold, so we'll have to wait and see who wins that one.
It's hard to believe that you get all seven products for £20 isn't it? I was really surprised by the price when I first saw the Tili box, and also I was pleased to hear that you don't have to take out a subscription. A new box becomes available every three months, and once you've seen what's going to be included, you can decide if you want to order. I've had a little sneak preview of the October box and have already decided that I definitely need it! It has some really exciting products inside from brands including Pixi, OPI, Philosophy and Tarte - not so sure I'll be sharing that one, sorry Mum!
