The Pivoine Delicate collection is inspired by a rare Peony flower found in France and includes fragrance, hand cream, a shimmering body powder and some lush lip products. I got to try out three of the lip products and one of them also includes the fragrance as a double ended duo product - nifty!
This is the duo roll on fragrance and lip gloss wand. I love the idea of this two in one product for saving space in your handbag - it would also remind me to reapply the perfume when I reapply lipgloss too. The Pivoine delicate fragrance is a beautiful girlie floral scent and I've totally fallen for it. I think it's a really romantic sort of smell - perfect for a date. I'm planning to buy the full size fragrance for myself as a little treat.
I also got to try the lipstick in the namesake shade - Pivoine Delicate, and a gloss in Rose Fremissant (glad I don't have to try pronouncing that, thank goodness I'm not a you tuber!). They're both pretty delicate colours which give a really natural and fresh look to the lips.
In the swatches above left to right is the duo wand lip gloss in a peachy shade, Rose Fremissant baby pink lip gloss and then the peachy nude lipstick in Pivoine Delicate. Beautiful Spring shades.
I'd not tried any make-up from L'Occitane before, and have really enjoyed trying these. The formulas of the lip glosses are not sticky, and Rose Fremissant has a pretty glitter running through without having a gritty texture.
You can pick up the full Pivoine Delicate range direct from L'Occitane here. The prices of the products I tried are as follows.
Duo roll on fragrance and lip gloss - £16
Lip shine - £11.50
Lipstick - £12.50
Aren't these just the prettiest products?

I love love love this collection, I went and bought the perfume the other day and didn't regret it. The most gorgeous scent and unlike other L'Occitane perfumes I have, it actually lasts, you can still smell it as the end of the day :D.
ReplyDeleteYep I agree, it's good pretty good staying power. I love the smell of this and keep sniffing my wrists like a weirdo!
DeleteOh wow the lipgloss and the perfume duo stick is such a unique idea! I would have never imagined combining two very different products together, but they would honestly come in so handy. However, based on the swatches i do feel that the lipstick/lipgloss are very sheer, there isn't much pigmentation, specially based on the relatively high price! Great review though, i was not aware of this brand :)

The lipgloss / perfume duo has been a staple in my handbag since I got it! You're right they are subtle / delicate shades, but I think that's the idea for this range xx
DeleteI tried these out in the shop and I could of taken them all home! x
ReplyDeleteI know, I could do some serious damage in L'Occitane!
DeleteI love the packaging of these products, it's so pretty! I love the idea of the lipgloss and perfume duo, it's such a random combination but it's two of those things that you definitely would touch up on throughout the day!
