The new naked chocolate palette is a combination of 16 eye shadows in both shimmer and matte finishes. It comes in a large palette, which although a little gimmicky with the chocolate design, is also sturdy and practical. The only thing I don't like about the design is that the 'white chocolate' colour packaging is also carried through to the inside of the palette and on the borders of the eye shadows. There's just something a bit odd to me about that pale yellow colour alongside the eye shadows and I think this could have looked more appealing if it were plain black or white. However, I can live with that because you're still getting an immense amount of product for £7.99 and with so many shades to choose from.
I really like the wide choice of nude shades in this palette - each shade is really different and there's a good mix of shade types and textures for a variety of full smoky eye looks. I found the formula of the shadows to differ quite a bit throughout the palette, and unless you want to apply these wet, a few of the shades are on the softer side. In the final row of swatches the middle three colours (tob-le-rone, white and milky) were the more difficult ones to swatch and would need to be built quite a lot to achieve the level of colour you see in the pan. The others are much easier to work with and give greater colour pay off in one swipe.
My favourite shades are dipped and adorable, and also milky - it's a colour that's worth the little bit of extra effort to build it up.
The Makeup Revolution Naked Chocolate palette is available now for £7.99 online and at some Superdrug stores.
This palette looks gorgeous! The shades are amazing. I definitely agree with you about the colour of the packaging. It would have been much better as just white rather than that creamy colour x

I'm not a fan of that yellowy white, unless it actually is chocolate and I can eat it!

Online at makeuprevolutionstore.com for the full range, but some Superdrug stores have a stand. My nearest big Superdrug has a stand but it doesn't have the full range so online is best xx
DeleteSuch a beautiful palette!

I've given up worrying about whether I have too many similar palettes - nudes and neutrals are the colours I wear, so they're always going to be the palettes I gravitate to in the shops. No point me buying some crazy blue palette or something an never wearing it!
DeleteOh, wow, it looks amazing! Makeup Revolution makes such excellent products.
